Hey Stranger

How We Make Meeting New People Less Weird

We get it, meeting new people as an adult can feel like a first date with less eye contact. That’s why we’ve made it easy, low-pressure, and just the right amount of mysterious.

Here’s how it all works, step by step.

1. You sign up, it’s free.

Fill in a quick form so we can get a feel for your vibe. It’s not a personality test or a dating profile, just a few questions so we can seat you with people who’ll actually get you. Honest answers = better brunch matches.

2. We run your Friendship Forecast.

Think of it as our friendly way of reading the social weather. We take what you’ve shared and run a friendship forecast to match you with people who’ll get your vibe. Then we plan a weekend brunch and email you
an invitation.

3. You get your invite.

You’ll receive an email with your brunch invite. If you’re keen, click the link, buy your ticket, and you’re in. Tickets cover our operating expenses, advertising, event setup and paying our brunch host; you’ll buy your own food and coffee at the venue. Once your ticket’s confirmed, we’ll email you all the details.

4. When you arrive

Our host will quietly greet you and point you to your table, so no one’s left hovering by the counter pretending to check their phone. We’ll make sure everyone’s settled in, introduced, and knows they’re in the right place. No awkward entrances, no guessing who’s who just a calm, friendly welcome so you can relax and get comfortable straight away.

5. The conversation starts itself.

At your table you’ll find light, fun conversation starters designed to skip the boring stuff. No “what do you do?” energy. Just questions that get everyone laughing and talking like old mates who accidentally joined a secret brunch club. Think fun, low-stakes prompts that reveal the personality behind the person, without the awkwardness.

6. Brunch happens. The rest is up to you.

Eat, chat, laugh, and see what happens. If you click, swap details. If not, no stress, it was still a solid brunch. After we’ll email a quick survey to see how it went and grab feedback to make the next brunches are even better. If you’re keen for another round, we'll add you to our back for Seconds Crew, our friendly line-up of returning brunches waiting for their next table assignment with a new crew next time.
